Monitoring Moving Objects from Moving Platforms

This sonar dataset was taken during a live demo held by BlueView and Seatronics in Singapore. The video-like sonar imagery shows the advantages of a P900-90 forward-looking imaging sonar when used to monitor underwater activity. In this example, the movement of the props from a boat and the resulting water turbulence (prop wash) are clearly visible as the boat backed into its mooring slip. In low or zero visibility conditions, BlueView's multibeam imaging sonar are essential when monitoring areas to ensure security, safety, and efficiency.
