Leica Cyclone Software

Overview

 BlueView Technologies, Inc. is an authorized distributor of Leica Geosystems and supports usage of Leica Cyclone software with the BV5000 3D Mechanical Scanning Sonar System. Leica Cyclone software is available in two separate packages, REGISTER and MODEL. The Cyclone software enables the creation of registered 3D images using two or more point cloud scans. The difference between the two is that MODEL enables advanced modeling from catalogs to generate detailed CAD models, while REGISTER enables global and local registration. Leica offers two licensing options: Node-locked which limits access to a single PC, or a floating license that enables usage on multiple PCs.

REGISTER Features

• Combines multiple scans taken from different positions to form registered imagery of large areas, structures, and objects by aligning/overlapping common areas
