The Ocean Modules inspection class range of ROVs is the first ever to do away with the traditional ROV design mandating buoyancy material at the top and ballast at the bottom.
Instead, the V Series places the center of gravity and center of buoyancy in the middle. The advanced V8 control system and eight vectored thrusters provide an extremely stable platform that can rotate 360° around any axis and hold any position indefinitely.
The capability to move freely while maintaining platform stability allows an operator to conduct sonar and video inspections following the profile of the sea floor, ship hull or subsea structure, despite external forces such as swell, current and tether drag.
