The BlueView P900-2250-45 2D Imaging Sonar data was recorded as part of a comprehensive military vessel hull inspection. Mounted on top of the Seabotix LBC ship hull crawler system the dual frequency imaging sonar was instrumental not only in navigating the hull, but alos identifying targets.
Short ranges were all that were required and the ultra high 2.25 MHz frequency imagery at a range out to 12 meters was perfectly suited to the search parameters. Even those targets hidden behind the running gearwere located visually with the sonar as a guidance tool.
