Navy
BlueView’s Navy group has many years of experience providing sonar systems and analysis to the US Navy, including Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (UUV) applications. BlueView’s Engineered-to-Order (ETO) sonar program routinely repackages its compact, low-power underwater vision solutions into custom UUV products for use on a wide range of undersea platforms using BlueView’s Blazed Array® technology. The flexibility of ETO system design allows a number of non-standard system options, like multiple fields-of-view (horizontal and/or vertical), multiple frequencies, and wider fields-of-view.
BlueView’s high-resolution 2D and 3D underwater vision systems are applicable to a number of UUV applications, such as: sea bottom mapping; detection, classification, localization, and identification of targets on the sea bottom, in the water volume, or partially submerged at the surface; harbor and port structure inspection and mapping; ship hull inspection; and obstacle avoidance, and target homing. BlueView’s comprehensive Software Development Kit (SDK) allows users to develop UUV-resident software for controlling the sonar system, and for collecting data and processing it in real-time. BlueView strives to work with users in order to define mission requirements and to develop ETO systems that satisfy them.
