The LBV-5 is the ultimate, versatile ROV for demanding conditions. By building on the already proven LBV MiniROV technology, SeaBotix has created a full-function, free-swimming, compact ROV that in just minutes can be converted to a revolutionary hull crawling system. With a patented vortex attraction device and four-wheel drive the LBV-5 can attach to a ship’s hull (or any other relatively flat surface of any material) for unprecedented stability in conditions exceeding traditional ROV capability. When integrated with a BlueView P900-20 or DF 900-2250, the LBV-5 is a powerful hull inspection and target identification system.
In both configurations the LBV-5 provides military, police, customs, and hydro operators around the world with a tool capable of inspection, recovery and NDT. An extensive range of standard features and user specified options allow each system to be customized to the exact mission and conditions. The LBV-5 is an extremely portable, intuitive, capable and ruggedly designed solution.
